Arrangement of bolts and rivets
It can be divided into two forms: juxtaposition and dislocation. The two sides are relatively simple and tidy, the layout is compact, the size of the connecting plate is small, and the bolt hole weakens the cross section of the component. The centering can reduce the weakening of the cross section, but the bolt arrangement is looser and the connecting plate size is larger.
Bolts and rivets on components. The following requirements must be considered in the above arrangement:
Mechanical demand
Vertical force: The distance between the middle and edge bolts in each row of the tension member must not be too small to avoid the mutual influence of stress concentration. The cross section of the bolt and the steel plate is weakened too much, thereby reducing its bearing capacity. Action in the direction of the normal force: The final distance determines the connection of materials such as compression resistance and shear strength according to the strength conditions, so that the steel plate will not be punched or sheared by the bolt in the end, and the end distance shall not be less than 2 d; the intermediate distance It should not be too large, otherwise it is easy to agitate between the connecting plates.
Structural requirements
The middle distance and the side distance should not be too large, otherwise the connection between the plates cannot be closed, and moisture invades the crevice corrosion of the steel.
Construction requirements
Ensure a certain space for fixing with a wrench and screws and nuts. According to the size of the wrench and the construction experience of the workers, the minimum intermediate distance is 3dq. The allowable distance between bolts and rivets is specified in accordance with the above requirements. When the bolt shear connection reaches the ultimate bearing capacity, the possible failure forms are as follows:
(1) The bolt diameter is small, the bolt can be cut off first;
(2) When the bolt diameter is large and the plate is thin, the plate can be crushed first. The extrusion of the bolt and the plate is opposite.
(3) There are too many weakened joints in the bolt holes, causing the plate section to break;
(4) The end face distance is too small, and the steel plate within the end face distance may be damaged by the bolt rod punching shear.
