In a narrow sense, standard parts are standardized fasteners. In fact, they are a kind of connecting part (connecting part). However, due to their wide range of applications, they are classified into one category in practical applications.

1. Bolt: a type of fastener consisting of a head and a screw (cylinder with external thread), on which a nut is installed, which is used to fasten two parts through a through hole. This type of connection is called a bolted connection. If the nut is unscrewed from the bolt, the two parts can be separated, so the bolt connection is a detachable connection.

2. Stud bolt: A fastener without a head, with only external threads at both ends. When connected, it is one. One end must be screwed into the part with an internal threaded hole, the other end must pass through the through hole of the part, and then the nut must be screwed on, even if the two parts are securely connected as a whole. This type of connection is called a stud connection, which is also a detachable connection. It is mainly used in the occasions where one of the connecting parts is thick, the structure is compact, or the disassembly is frequent, and the bolt connection is not suitable.

3. Screw: It is also a kind of fastener composed of head and screw. According to the purpose, it is divided into three categories: machine screws, fixing screws, and special screws. Machine screws are mainly used to fix screw hole parts and fasten connections with through-hole parts; no nut is needed (this kind of connection is called screw connection; it can also be detachable connection; it can also be used with nuts to connect two A component with a through hole. The positioning screw is mainly used to fix the relative position between the two parts. Special screws, such as lifting ring screws, are used for lifting parts.

4. Nut: With internal threaded hole, the shape is generally flat hexagonal column, also can be flat square column or flat cylinder. The two parts are connected and fastened with bolts, studs or machine screws to make it into a whole.
