Today, I will introduce a kind of pressure riveting nut for special-shaped bolts and nuts.
A pressure riveting nut is a kind of nut used on a thin plate or a thin metal plate, with a circular shape, a tooth-shaped protrusion, and a guide groove at the end. The principle is to press the embossed teeth into the pre-set holes of the sheet metal. Generally, the hole diameter of the square pre-set holes is slightly smaller than the embossed teeth of the pressure riveting nut. The flower teeth of the pressure riveting nut are squeezed into the plate by pressure. The periphery of the hole is plastically deformed, and the deformed object is squeezed into the guide groove, thereby producing a locking effect.
1. Material description of pressure rivet nut
Pressure riveting nuts can be divided into fast-cutting steel pressure riveting nuts s type and stainless steel pressure riveting nuts CLS type. The specifications usually range from M2 to MI0.
2. Confirm the rivet nut specification
Before construction, first confirm the type and specification of the rivet nut according to the requirements of the drawing, ensure that the correct rivet nut is used, and prevent the use of the wrong type and specification.
3. Confirm the bottom hole size
Before pulling the nut, it is necessary to confirm whether the bottom hole size of the board village meets the bottom hole size requirements of each model. If not, stop riveting.
4. Adjust the equipment
After the materials are prepared, more rivets are selected according to the specifications of the nut and the corresponding rivet heads are selected. Replace the pressure head and adjust the pressure to ensure that the pressure is adjusted to the specified pressure range.
5. Install the pressure riveting nut
Perform nut pressure riveting. Put the rivet nut on the orifice plate, and adjust the position of the nut and the upper horizontal hole after the device is opened to ensure that the bottom part of the rivet nut applies pressure to press down the nut plate in the horizontal position.
6. Check
(1) Visual inspection: After riveting, there must be no obvious convex and concave deformation every four weeks, no obvious surface treatment, and no embossing or molding method with the most coverage.
(2) Torque test: After laying, the dumper shall not be loosened, no eyes shall be dropped, and the hardness of the board shall be tested.
